Asparagus And Cheddar Stuffed Chicken Breast

This is an amazing and simple recipe to do. I actually saw this at the store and thought it looked delicious. Once I got home and prepared to put it in the oven I realized I could totally do this myself. My picture doesn’t look as appetizing but trust me, it was good.

So last night I made it myself and like I said-amazing and simple. I love Asparagus and just about any baked stuffed chicken.

Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
12 trimmed asparagus spears
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided or use Cheddar single slices
lemon pepper seasoning – or any type you prefer

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. If you prefer, you can pound chicken breasts with a meat mallet to flatten but I just left them as they were. Depending on the size of your chicken breast, place 2-3 trimmed asparagus spears in the center of each breast and top each with Cheddar cheese. Bring in sides of chicken and tie using a toothpick. Season to taste with lemon pepper seasoning and place in a baking dish. Add 1/4-inch of water to dish; cover and cook for 20 minutes. Remove cover and cook for 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Serve with your favorite side dish!

Makes 4 servings.
