Favorite Product - Halo SleepSack

Buggy in her Halo SleepSack
Please note I am not getting paid for this post. I simply love this product, believe in it and want to share my experience.

So, with that said, I want to talk about one of my favorite baby products that I use every single day and wish I had started when Buggy was a baby. It is the Halo SleepSack. I started using the SleepSack when my daughter was about 8 months old and she is now 19 months.

The SleepSack is the alternative to a blanket. This blanket is awesome!  I absolutely love love love it! When we travel, it is one of the first things I pack. They say that you should not be placing blankets in your baby's crib but I always did and it made me very nervous.  I worried that it may end up on her face or she would get tangled up in it and I checked on her constantly. Plus there is also the risk of SIDS to think about.  As a new Mami I always worried if my baby warm enough - even though I always cranked my heat or if she was too cold when I ran the air conditioner.

With the Halo SleepSack you do not have to worry about that. In warm weather I generally dress Buggy in a pajama top and her diaper and put her in a cotton SleepSack when I put her down.  In the winter I will put her pajama's on - top and bottom and put her in either a cotton or a fleece SleepSack.  I know I definitely sleep better knowing this blanket will not end up covering her face and it will keep her nice and warm.  The great thing about this product is that it comes in various sizes from XS to XL and in various patterns from solids to prints.  Buggy is wearing a large in the picture and as you can see she has plenty of room to move around in and is able to stand up in it as well. The SleepSack is very easy to use - just lay your baby down and zip her up.  The zipper zips from the bottom which makes any diaper changes a breeze.  Halo also carries a swaddle version but I have never used one as I never really did the swaddle thing with my baby.

Buggy loves her SleepSack.  In the morning when she wakes up and is ready to come out of her crib I will ask her if she wants to take her "blankie" off and she always shakes her head no. She really enjoys hanging out in it so we just lay in bed for a bit until she is ready to take it off.  She is able to walk in it but I do not recommend it as they could easily trip.  They do have ones for Early Walkers where they can walk freely.

If you are a mom-to-be the Halo SleepSack is a must-have item for your shower list.  If you have little ones and have not tried it yet, I definitely recommend it. I have three of them - two cotton and one fleece. I think they are a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it. I got mine BabiesRus but you can also find them at Target

  1. I raved about our sleep sack on my blog too! Except we do have the swaddle one and Payton loves it. I will definitely be getting the bigger sizes as soon as she outgrows this one
