Sponsored Post: GlassesUSA

I have been wearing glasses since I was about 7 or so. I remember wearing them during my first communion and it is the only picture that I could find of me wearing eyeglasses mainly because I hated them and refused to wear them no matter how bad I had to squint. I can certainly tell you that they weren’t designer or fashionable. I’m pretty sure my mom picked out the cheapest ones for me because they certainly were one of the ugliest!

I really don’t remember wearing my glasses all that much but I’m pretty sure I had to wear them a lot especially since I couldn’t see far away. I probably sat in the front row at school just so I didn’t have to wear my glasses- I hated them that much. I probably just took them off whenever anyone took any pictures but I had to wear them until I could get my contacts.

I definitely prefer wearing my contacts but there are times when my contacts just seem really dry or I want to give my eyes a rest from my contacts and sometimes my glasses are just more comfortable. Recently I had to get a new pair of glasses because my daughter broke mine. It takes me forever to find a pair that fit me because my face is narrow and most of the glasses out there really don’t fit well. I generally pick a pair from the kids selection.  I always wished that I could find a place you could upload a picture of yourself and try on glasses that way so you can see how they really look on you, you know like they have for hairstyles. I spent about an hour deciding on my new pair of glasses because I just couldn’t decide. That was an hour walking around the store, very time consuming.

GlassesUSA.com has exactly what I’ve been looking for. When you are shopping online for glasses it is really hard to know what the glasses will really look like on your own face but you can click on their virtual mirror or the “try it mirror” and try on as many glasses as you want in the comfort of your own home. It is really cool. All you have to do is select your gender, you can either upload a photo or snap a quick picture with your webcam or choose one of the profiles they offer and voila, you are now ready to start trying on glasses. It’s that simple. I have to admit that it was fun trying on all the different types of frames available. Who would have thought that shopping for glasses online would be so much fun. The prices are very affordable so if you can’t decide on just one why not buy a couple of pairs.

Another reason to love GlassesUSA, besides their high quality frames and lenses, is that they offer a 110% lowest price guarantee and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Oh, they also have a generous refer-a-friend program which is pretty amazing because I’m sure there are at least two or three people you know that wear glasses or needs a new pair of sunglasses.

  1. I remember when I was still in junior high (my first time wearing glasses) I was so excited because back then wearing glasses with stylish frame was considered cool. So when the doctor suggested me to take medicine I preferred to use glasses. Now I kind of regret it because wearing glasses sometimes a bit annoying to me :(  (mine is 0.75 cylindric both eyes)

  2. yea glasses can be annoying especially when you want to wear sunglasses but by the end of the day I can't wait to take my contacts off and put my glasses on to give my eyes a break.
